Walk to School Wednesday

Please join one of the Walking School Buses listed below, on the first Wednesday of every month. Students who walk will earn a foot token from Mrs. Caggia, and students wearing a Walking School Bus T-Shirt will earn an iron-on footprint transfer by checking in at the front door when they arrive at school! **New routes from Woodbridge and Holland's Crossing! Abbington:

This neighborhood is not served by a walking school bus at this time. Join the group departing from KidsTowne at Kelly Road Park.

Ashley Downs:

Depart from Ashbark Court at 8:35 a.m.

Beckett Crossing:

Depart from Dogwood/Pearson Pool at 8:25 a.m.

Bella Casa:

This neighborhood is not served by a walking school bus at this time. Join the group departing from KidsTowne at Kelly Road Park.

Chapel Ridge:

This neighborhood is not served by a walking school bus at this time. Join the group departing from KidsTowne at Kelly Road Park.

Creekside Hills:

Depart from Lazy Days Court (Homestead Park) at 8:30 a.m.

Dogwood Ridge:

Depart from Dogwood/Pearson Pool at 8:25 a.m.

Greenbrier:

Depart from the corner of Averroe and Brierridge at 8:30 a.m.

Holland's Crossing:

There is now one walking school bus serving this neighborhood, departing from the pool at the corner of Piney Woods Ln. and Bergen Ave. at 8:25 a.m.

Homestead Park:

Depart from Lazy Days Court at 8:30 a.m.

Kelly Glen:

This neighborhood is not served by a walking school bus at this time. Join the group departing from KidsTowne at Kelly Road Park.

Kelly West:

Depart from the corner of Averroe and Brierridge at 8:30 a.m. Kelly West residents should walk through their subdivision to Greenbrier to avoid Olive Chapel Rd.

KidsTowne at Kelly Road Park:

Depart at 8:35 a.m. Students whose neighborhoods are not served by a walking school bus are welcome to walk with this group any Walking Wednesday.

Pearson Farms:

Depart from Dogwood/Pearson Pool at 8:25 a.m.

Scotts Mill:

This neighborhood is not served by a walking school bus at this time. Join the group departing from KidsTowne at Kelly Road Park.

Woodridge:

There is now one walking school bus serving this neighborhood, departing from the corner of Woodbridge Dr. and Tamora Ct. at 8:25 a.m.

Information for all walkers:

Please be at your stop 5 minutes before scheduled leave time. All walking school buses leave promptly at the posted time. A route volunteer, who will be wearing a lime green safety vest, will be at the stop to lead the Walking School Bus. Parents must walk with their children or arrange for them to walk with another adult. All routes will arrive at school by 8:45. Anyone who does not live in the subdivisions listed above may join the Walking School Bus departing from KidsTowne Park for any or all Walking Wednesdays!. Due to the large number of walkers on the sidewalks, students are discouraged from riding bikes, skateboards, or scooters as part of the Walking School Bus on Walking Wednesdays.
