Opportunities Abound - all we need is YOU!

Welcome to another year filled with opportunities to make a difference at OCE. There are many opportunities to work with the PTA and volunteer. We need people to volunteer during the school day, but we also have plenty of opportunities for those parents who have time either before of after school or who prefer to help from home. Do you enjoy reading books aloud, organizing materials, baking items for teacher appreciation, using the computer to create databases, working with a small group of children? Let us know how and when you would like to support OCE and we will find opportunities for you to contribute.

The PTA also needs volunteers to help with the following committees:

• Fundraising (Citipass, Art by Me, etc.): organize items and collect orders
• PTA Membership Drive
• Hospitality Committee: organize Teacher Appreciation events
• Family Marathon and Field Day
• Walk to School Program
• Artapalooza
• School Store Volunteers (open every other Friday)
• Book Fairs
