Visitors and Volunteers

Signing In

When visiting Olive Chapel, please report directly to the office to sign in. You must use the front entrance to the building. Do not go to your child’s classroom without signing in at the office first. This includes parents who are visiting classes in the cottages. This is for the safety of all students.

Identification

All visitors must be wearing a badge. The visitor registration station in the main office will print one for you. It is important that you display this badge prominently as you walk through the school. Staff members will ask to see your badge and escort you back to the main office if you do not have one.

Volunteering

Anyone who wishes to volunteer at Olive Chapel must register with WCPSS as a volunteer. Registration must be updated each school year and can be done from a computer at any WCPSS campus. You only need to register once regardless of how many children you have or schools they attend. Visit the Library Media Center during regular school hours (8:45-3:45) to sign up. Younger siblings should not be in the classroom while you are volunteering.

All continuing volunteers approved for the 2012-13 school year MUST reactivate as a volunteer no later than 4:00pm on October 31, 2012.
